Current law, MD Code, Criminal Law, § 4-305 provides that a person may not “manufacture, sell, offer for sale, purchase, receive or transfer” a magazine with a capacity of more than 10 rounds of ammunition. SB 1062 would add a possessory
offense to that list so as to provide that a person may not even possess such magazines.
