This is going to be a big one. MSI is going to be at the Country Life Festival at St. Mary's County fairgounds, 19-20 Aug. We have also arranged to once again borrow the Berwyn Rod & Gun indoor air rifle range. This was a tremendous hit the last time we did it. So, this will take a lot of people to make it happen, please sign up if you can! If you are able to volunteer, please send an e-mail to events at marylandshallissue with a .org I am working with people to get the range set up, we need staff during the event. Range Officer keeps an eye on range safety, etc. just as you would think and Range Support keeps the rifles loaded and ready to go. Information Table is what MSI usually does, talk to people, hand out literature.

I'm available for shift #2 on Sunday the 20th. You can decide where to put me; but information booth is fine as well as RSO.

Thanks Mike. We also have Delegate Deb Rey and Vicente Montes Cintron on Sunday.

We can definitely use more help on Saturday, though.

Thanks to all!

Thanks! It would be better to have two for range support (keeping the air rifles loaded and working) if that's OK with you.

Anyone else who can help out Saturday or morning shift Sunday would be great!

Attorney General Frosh is at it Again!

The Attorney General is at it again.   In his most recent press release (Dec. 7, 2017), the Attorney General engages in fear mongering in a tirade against the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 (H.R. 38) that recently passed the House of Representatives (see HERE for our prior discussion on this bill), asserting that enactment of this law would be a “public safety disaster for our nation.”   Nonsense.

National Reciprocity Passes the House!

Passage of this bill (H.R. 38) in the House is huge and is strongly endorsed by MSI. The bill contains multiple provisions greatly strengthening the rights of individuals with concealed carry permits and and of residents of constitutional carry states that allow concealed carry without a permit.
