Save Lives.
Studies have repeatedly shown that states which pass Shall-Issue concealed carry laws experience a reduction in murder rate.
This has been the case for all 41 states which have Shall-Issue or equivalent.
Maryland is not one of those states yet. If Maryland were to pass Shall-Issue legislation, we could save about 41 lives per year.
Why, then, do Maryland lawmakers repeatedly refuse to pass such a life-saving measure? Why do they perpetuate our current system, which places a higher value on cash than on the lives of our children?
